Artist Jacob Mazurek’s photorealistic painting, *View from Above* (30-in x 40-in), captures shipmates aboard USS Ardent (MCM-12) in the Arabian Gulf, inspired by the artist’s own photograph of Sailors engaged in conversation amid minesweeping operations. This detailed work reflects Mazurek’s commitment to portraying authentic moments with precision, showcasing the environment and gear, including a Sailor in SAR equipment, to immerse viewers in the naval experience.
